Gov. Sonny Perdue will deliver his annual “State of the State” address to the Georgia General Assembly on Wednesday at 11 a.m. in House chambers.
It will be Perdue’s final State of the State as governor. Topics are expected to include education, transportation, the budget, and healthcare reform.

Mayor Kasim Reed announced promotions and lateral reassignments within the Atlanta Police Department (APD) during his first press conference as mayor at City Hall on Tuesday.
